Original Forekaster, designed as a wet weather XC tire; Maxxis described it as one of its newer XC treads in April 2016. The last year shown is the year the second generation replaced it (July 2022). Tech codes as Maxxis prints them: EXO sidewall protection, EXO+ adds a small butyl insert, DD = DoubleDown, DH = Downhill 2 ply casing, TR = tubeless ready, 3T/3CT = 3C MaxxTerra, 3G/3CG = 3C MaxxGrip, 3S = 3C MaxxSpeed, MT = MaxxTerra, E25/E50 = e-bike rating. Every variant was sold out on shop.maxxis.com in 2026-09; list_price_usd is the lowest price the store still showed then (historical once the listing goes). No launch price was published by Maxxis, so msrp_usd is null. Variants marked source maker_us_store_only come from the store listing only (no weight or ETRTO published for them).
