2008 Scott Ransom 10 Frame

Spec from Scott's US (us_en) product page (captured 2008-04). Model year 2008: this is the range of the scottusa.com product site launched in October 2007, captured before the next range replaced it in September 2008; the page itself prints no year. Geometry is published only as an image on the page; not transcribed. Frame kit: Scott files this product under Bike > Frames (Frames > Mountain > Ransom > Ransom 10); the word Frame in the model name is ours. Frame kit weight as listed: 3200 gr. / 7.05 lbs. Rear travel 165 mm: Scott's page prints "TRAVEL / 165 mm" under its Derailleur (Rear) label (the Ransom 30 frame kit prints the same line as its Shock (Rear) row), so it is stored as rear travel and not as a derailleur. The rear shock is named in the Frame row ("Scott Equalizer TC Rear Shock"). The kit includes Scott's "Remote Control Shifter Kit" (its Shifters row), the handlebar remote for the rear shock; it is not a gear shifter and is not stored as shifters.
